Springville Center for the Arts is seeking work for our annual holiday sale.  While work may be winter-themed, wintery or holiday subject matter is not required.

Guidelines and Requirements:   Our standard 30% commission will apply, so please price work accordingly.  For this event, pieces will be reviewed by members of the Gallery Committee and accepted (or gratefully declined) on site during the drop-off times below; as always, we reserve the right to accept only a portion of the work submitted.  If you’re unable to bring your work in during the stated times, please contact the Arts Center or Pam Stachowski (72stachbp@gmail.com) for alternate arrangements.  Please note: work will be sold ‘off the wall’ (i.e. taken by the customer at the time of purchase); due to limited space, smaller pieces are preferred but no item should exceed 30” in any direction (including mat & frame, if applicable).

We’re seeking the following:

  • Paintings, drawings and photographs – work must be appropriately framed with a hanging wire (please no saw-tooth hangers). All work must have the following information affixed securely to the back:  Title, artist’s name, media, price.
  • Multi-media collage or framed fiber pieces – must conform to the guidelines for paintings, drawings & photographs.
  • Hanging quilts/fiber pieces – also must conform to the guidelines for paintings, drawings & photographs.
  • Artistic Personal effects – hand-woven or painted scarves, hand knit mittens or gloves, etc. Prices must be affixed.
  • Artistic Household items – in any media, including mugs, bowls, utensils, etc. Prices must be affixed.
  • Hand-made Jewelry – any media but individual pieces must be unique, and must include a secure price tag.
  • Hand-crafted wood items (carved and/or turned) – individual items must have a secure price sticker.
  • Ornaments – any media, but must be handmade or hand painted and individually priced.
  • Giftable botanicals, including handcrafted soaps, essential oils, bath products, etc.
Must have price tag affixed to each piece.
  • Greeting card sets. Single cards will not be accepted; cards must be handmade or include original artwork, be boxed or otherwise bound as a set and must have a price sticker securely attached.
  • Toys – any media, but must be hand crafted and priced individually.
