Springville Center for the Arts recently acquired the parsonage next to our main programming space. Ultimately envisioned as artist housing, this spacious two-story house was built by the church in 1887 on a foundation that even predates the church. It was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places. It has great bones but needs a lot of TLC. The purchase was financed with the help of members who provided a loan. For the time being it is important that we generate income from the property to cover our costs. We have made the space available through Airbnb where you can see photos. Over time we hope to complete a full historic restoration.
