CALL FOR WORK | Community Threads: Traditional & Contemporary Fiber Arts

Calling local artists! Springville Center for the Arts is seeking work for Community Threads. This exhibit will showcase a variety of fiber arts from our region.

• Show Dates: January 10th – March 16th
• Location: Harold L. Olmsted Gallery
• Deadline for Submissions: December 18th
• Artist Notification: December 22nd
• Drop-off: January 3rd-5th from 10am-5pm, or by arrangement
• Pick up: week of March 17th

Guidelines and Requirements

• Submissions: Please submit up to 5 images of your work. All forms of fiber arts are accepted. There are no size limitations.
• Item Guidelines: Artwork must be professionally presented and ready to display. Please attach any wires, rods, etc required for hanging. Your name, as well as the title, medium, and price of the work must be affixed to the back of the work.
• Pricing & Sales: Sales are subject to a commission where 30% goes to SCA and 70% goes to the artist. Please price your work accordingly. SCA is responsible for sales tax. SCA will pay the artist within two weeks following the conclusion of the show. Not all work need be for sale.
