Trenton Lutes will cover the history of Bonsai and several of the more popular styles of trees including: Informal Upright, Literati and Semi-Cascade, all while instructing the class on how to turn a hand selected nursery plant into a bonsai tree of their own. All of the supplies that one needs to create a bonsai are included: a hand-selected nursery plant, bonsai pot, wire, soil and even a pocket guide to bonsai. Tools are also provided by the instructor for use during the class.
