***Fiber Art Workshop 2020***

Saturday, February 15 from 10am – 12:30pm

Learn everything you need to know to begin needle felting in a relaxed and supportive environment. In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn how to make your own needle felted projects using nature themed cookie cutters. Students will leave class with new felted creations plus the tools and knowledge to keep on creating more at home. No experience is necessary. All materials are included, and you get to take your set of felting needles, foam pad, and extra wool home! With Fiber Artist Kari Roslund.

Kari Roslund grew up in Woolrich, PA and recently relocated to Cattaraugus County. She raises her own sheep, collecting and dying wool for her projects. A certified art teacher who taught in keystone central school district, as well as a guest artist in Southern Tioga school district and Loyalsock area school district. She currently offers private and group lessons for elementary age to adult. She will have a solo exhibit in the Harold L. Olmsted Gallery this Fall entitled: Places and Spaces: Nature Depicted through Fiber (On display 10/14 – 11/21) and will host more fiber workshops.

Cost: $20/ $18 member, plus $12 material fee payable to the instructor
