Olmstead Camp, 12820 Benton Rd., Sardinia, NY 14134. Historic Olmsted Camp is a private summer residence located on 183 acres of woods and fields along the Cattaraugus Creek in Sardinia, New York. Designed by young architect, Harold LeRoy Olmsted in the Arts & Crafts style and built in 1910, the board and batten main lodge and cabins of Olmsted Camp provide a picturesque retreat for relatives and friends of the Olmsted family.
Join Sean Witucki in a landscape workshop designed to guide painters (all mediums) of all levels on the steps in planning and executing landscape composition.
Sean M. Witucki obtained his BS and MS in Visual Art Education from the State University of NY at Buffalo State. He is an internationally collected, self-taught painter. Sean chooses to focus on painting directly from life or from studies that have been created this way. He has been a drawing and painting instructor at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts since 2002.
With a rich history of hosting artists, the private Olmsted Camp will provide a picturesque location for this workshop.
