Paint in the exceptional beauty of Camp Olmsted with its singular location overlooking the Cattaraugus Creek Valley and distant hills. Olmsted Camp’s rich history embodies rustic, arts and crafts inspired buildings, and abundant trees and fauna. Enjoy a morning demonstration from Southtowns artist/instructor Jennifer Koury, focusing on simplifying the landscape into foreground, middleground and background, while using value structure to compose a pleasing composition and focal point. Participants will choose their unique view to paint en plein air (in the open air) and receive guidance from the instructor. All mediums are welcome. Please bring your plein air supplies, including a sketchbook, easel, chair, hat, bag lunch, and hydration. $60 / $55 SCA members
