Reardon & Garvey will be performing a pre-St. Patrick’s Day concert at Springville Center for the Arts on March 14 at 8pm. The group include Springville natives and SGI graduates Benjamin Garvey on guitar and vocals and Erik Wollschlager on bass and backing vocals. The Reardon & Garvey Band has been performing  Irish & American Folk Music. Other band members include Michael Reardon on tenor guitar, vocals and percussion, Tim Hughes on accordion and backing vocals, and Cristina Hughes on banjo, Vocals and vocals.

Reardon & Garvey’s sound perform a wide range of music including traditional and contemporary Folk & Irish, along with original tunes composed by Ben Garvey and with a few Kingston Trio tunes thrown in as well.  Their harmonies go beyond just their voices. The instrumentation includes traditional bodhran and spoons. They have performed at The Buffalo Irish Center, The Shannon Pub, Kitty Hoynes, O’Lacy’s, The Harp & Fiddle in Pittsburg, PA, and at the Irasburg Fair in Irasburg, Vermont. They also opened for the Sawdoctors at Art Park, In Lewiston, NY.

Very special guest Irish Story Teller Tim Daly will be joining the Band. Daly has told his stories to a wide range of audiences, and appears with Tom Callahan and Kindred regularly.

Springville Center for the Arts is located at 37 North Buffalo Street in Springville.  The show starts at 8:00 pm with doors opening at 7:30 pm.  Tickets can be purchased online at SpringvilleArts.org and will also be available at the door.  Admission is $10 presale and $12.00 at the door.  Call 716-592-9038 for more information.
