Nick Kody returns to host an informal evening where performers strip down their sound and share the stories behind their songs. Nick is joined by Jaimie Lee, Davey O., and Grace Lougen.
Lee hails from North Carolina and is now based in the Finger Lakes Region. Her musical influences early on were Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Jim Croce, and Ingrid Michaelson among others.
Equal parts songwriter and storyteller, Buffalo’s Davey O. has been recognized on a national level for his past two CD releases with multiple honors among the “best of“ lists of several Folk & Roots radio stations, and as a 2013 New Folk Finalist at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival.
Grace Lougen is a guitar player and songwriter from Buffalo and has deep roots in blues, playing a variety of music including soul, funk, and rock. In 2016, Lougen traveled with Joan Baez as guitar tech on both a European and US tour (each a month long), and did some teching for The Indigo Girls.
