BLANK CANVASES: EXPLORING SITES FOR POTENTIAL PUBLIC ART IN SPRINGVILLE

Exhibit begins February 1st

Reception & Public Input Session | February 4th | 6:30 – 8pm

An interactive exhibit featuring photographs of potential sites for public art installations around Springville. Visitors will have the opportunity to leave feedback and sketch ideas they would like to see in the community.

The SYI Poolhouse on S. Buffalo St. will be the site of a mural this year. Give input at the reception.

The Lab (a.k.a. The Springville Center for the Arts Laboratory of Social Aesthetics) is an art studio and gallery located in the former Carpet World at 67 E. Main Street. It serves as the homebase for SCA staff artists Alisia Glasier and Max Collins. The Lab provides a place to work on their own artwork, plan public art projects, and engage the Springville community through interactive exhibits and artmaking workshops.
