Our 2012-2013 Springville Players Theater Season opens with You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown with a tour de force creative team providing direction. Sue Sorensen, Doug Bailey and Doris Biscup will guide the production which runs October 25 to November 4. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.
Though considered a “good man” by his friends, Charlie Brown can’t seem to win the heart of the Little Red-Haired Girl, nor his friend Lucy, or her crush, the piano-playing Schroeder. Meanwhile Snoopy and Linus daydream and the rest of the friends battle with kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally coming to realize what makes them truly happy.
Tickets will go on sale in September. The opening Thursday is “Pay What You Can With a Can.” Patrons may pay any amount to see the show with the donation of a nonperishable canned good for a local food pantry. All other shows are $15 Adults and $12 Students and Seniors.
