Springville Center for the Arts

Located in a former Baptist church built in 1869, our main facility is at the center of Springville’s Historic District one block from Main Street. Our building features the Harold L. Olmsted Gallery, Carol Mongerson Theater, and Fran Vacanti Classroom. We are in the midst of a capital expansion involving a full theater renovation which will add gallery space and increase our seating capacity. An accessible entrance was completed in 2023.
Gallery Hours:
Wednesday 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 10am-2pm: We often make accommodations at other times. Call 716-592-9038.
Parking: There are a limited number of spaces located in our parking lot off Franklin Street. There is abundant parking within one block of our facility. Parking is available on Chapel, Franklin and Mechanic Streets, Courtesy of M&T Bank between N. Buffalo and Mechanic, & courtesy of Presbyterian Church one block west on Franklin.
Handicap Accessibility: Our gallery is accessible with a ramp in the rear of the building. For those with any special needs, please contact us.
Art’s Cafe

A collapsed building, rescued by a group of passionate citizens—this is the home of Art’s Café, a project spearheaded by Springville Center for the Arts. The three-story building features an artisan bakery and café, arts workshop, performance venue, fully accessible green roof, and artist residences. Learn more here.

Wednesday – Friday 9am-8pm, Saturday 9am-4pm
Parking: There are parking spots on Main Street, as well as a municipal parking lot behind the Cafe which can be accessed by S. Buffalo or Pearl Streets.

The Lab

The work space for staff artists and the host of occasional exhibits and programs. Open only for programs.
Arts Underground

This space is used for costume & prop storage, theater rehearsals, and set construction. It also serves as our SPARK! pre-k program location.
