10 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
ART CRAWL – This Saturday, May 7, 6-9pm

  • Artwork, Artwork, Artwork – a wide variety of artwork is displayed and for sale inside business on Main Street. Stroll from location to location, enjoy refreshments and community.  Get your map at the tent on the corner of Main & Mechanic Streets.
  • Music, Music, Music: It pops up everywhere. Gene Hilts – pedal steel mini-concert at Concord Land Realty, Members of The Fibs playing solo and in mariachi configuration, Susie Rozler and Mama Earth’s Kitchen Band Show – interactive kids show outside Love Inc., Partners in Time – dulcimer based old-time sound at the Merc, Hintz of Thunder – country with an attitude inside JP’s Barber Shop.
  • Buy Something for Mom – In addition to the art on the walls and the open gift shops (shop local at Fresh, My Best Friends Closet and Homewear), three mini-stores will pop up around town. Photography by Frank Russo, Pottery and Jewelry by Elaine Hardman, and assemblage & collage by Missy Buckley.
  • Kids Art Space – Arts Underground will host a kids art/play space based on our Spark! program. Be prepared to get messy. PreK – adult kids.
  • Afterparty at 9pm – Vote for your favorite artwork. Meet the artists, hear the results and enjoy refreshments at 9pm at Arts Underground
  • Decorate Your Tile – Donors to our renovations can decorate a hex tile that will be installed outside the elevator. Paint and tiles will be ready for you. It’s not too late to donate!
  • SCA popup shop – New SCA t-shirts, tickets for Proof (see below), Gala tickets for sale at a discounted presale rate of $15. June 18 event includes drinks, food, mini-golf tournament, Music by LeeRon Zydeco, reopening of the Olmsted Gallery, elevator rides and actual real bathrooms!
  • Even more stuff – Fabric Art Demonstration at Lucy Bensley, Kid authors from the Country Life Programs book signing at Anything Printed, Students from SGI at MocOne
  • Listen to WSPQ – On your way in, listen to The Q, Am 1330, the official radio station of the Crawl broadcasting live during the event.
