Grants Available to Individual Artists & Local Organizations

Every year there is funding available for arts programs, but very few people apply from this area. Learn how to apply for grant funding for an arts program at your organization. Decentralization, or DEC, is grant funding for smaller organizations, libraries, or government units that is administered locally by ASI of WNY. A similar program is for new work by an individual artist. This grant program is for entities or artists based in Erie County and you must attend one information session to be eligible to apply. A mandatory information session will be held at Springville Center for the Arts in August. Stay tuned to our website or ASIwny.org for dates as they are released. Organizations interested in applying may contact the Center for ideas, artist contacts, or potential partnerships.
