Raised in Woolrich, Pennsylvania, Fiber artist, Kari Roslund recently relocated to Cattaraugus County. Having taught in various school districts throughout central Pennsylvania, she discovered her affinity for wool 10 years ago while teaching and raising her own flock.  Receiving the DEC individual Artist Grant in 2020 with her project entitled, Community Garden: Discovering the Roots and Resources within Cattaraugus County, Her most recent works focus on using local resources. This small collection of local landscapes incorporates a variety of fibers collected from local farms in addition to natural dyes created from plants, roots, and bark collected within Cattaraugus County.

 

Needle Felting Workshop – Pumpkins

Create your own 3-D pumpkins while learning the basics of needle felting. All materials included.
Cost: $20 / $18 member plus $10 payable to the instructor

12/12/2020 from 10 – 12:30pm

Create a 3-D ornament while learning the basics of needle felting. All materials are included, and you get to take your set of felting needles, foam pad, and extra wool home.
Cost: $20 / $18 members plus $20 payable to instructor
