Artsapalooza is a free, outdoor, multi-arts program for families with younger children. Touring to a community near you this summer, the two-hour program brings interactive art-making stations, a chance to explore drums and ukulele, theater games and more, culminating in a giant-puppet performance of Baba Yaga.
When a little girl is sent deep into the woods to borrow a needle and thread, she discovers that her aunt is none other than Baba Yaga, the bony-legged, the witch! A smile reveals her iron teeth and the wicked Baba prepares the boiling pot for an unexpected meal. With the help of a magical mouseykins, a talking cat and her kindness, the little girl barely escapes but Baba is following quickly behind!
