Throat | Blooming Voice | Deconstructed Weaving & Indigo Dyeing

Chakras are energetic power centers that form an important part of our creative identities, and are accessible through many associations ranging from color, scent and even certain foods. Understanding and unlocking these points have a powerful impact on our ability to feel, embody our power, speak, sing, dance and create. These workshops are designed to be taken as a series but each class stands alone – previous workshops in the series are not needed to join in the experiences. With Tami Fuller.
In this class, we’ll focus on “I Speak,” the Throat Chakra, associated with our authenticity and ability to speak and express ourselves clearly and truthfully. It’s associated with the color blue, so we’re going to weave our own intuitive sound waves and distress them with a dip in the indigo vat. Watching the magical shift from green to blue as our indigo dyed forms “bloom” is a perfect metaphor for exploring a clear voice and giving full expression to the way we communicate.
