DARLING FAMILY DAY: FOREST BATHING WALK
August 16th | Holcomb Pond | 12 – 1:30pm | FREE | Pre-registration Required
We’ll take in the generously gifted natural environment in Zoar with a forest bathing walk after the tree planting ceremony. Spots are limited so pre-registration online for the walk is a must. Certified Forest Bathing instructor Jennifer Fendya will lead us on this rejuvenating walk through the woods as we immerse our senses in nature. Come out and enjoy the proven benefits of forest bathing on our physical and mental well being, including lowering stress levels and boosting creativity.
OUTING LEVEL: Easy walk over mostly even terrain on marked trails. Pre-registration required as spots are limited. Forest bathing stools will be provided. Sturdy footwear and long pants recommended. Please bring a sack lunch, water, and snacks, and anything that makes you comfortable in the woods – hat, insect repellent, etc. Meet at Holcomb Pond Trailhead.
