Formed in 1891, the Buffalo Society of Artists is one of the oldest art organizations in Western New York and the United States. Early exhibits included the works of both members and non-members such as Charles Burchfield and Claude Monet. The BSA embraces visual exploration as critical to the voice of our time, advancing visual art and the presentation of the finest artistic traditions.
