GYOTAKU: JAPANESE FISH PRINTS
October 5th | 10am-12:30pm | $45 / $40 members | Vacanti Classroom

Gyotaku is the traditional Japanese method of printing fish, a practice that dates back to the mid-1800’s, used by fishermen to record their catches. We will use latex molds of sea creatures and plants as our printing plates – not real fish! Learn about composition, color, and how to create a monoprint. With Janet Vedder.
