The Holland Tuesday Painters began with two friends, Debbie Radford and Debbie Richter, painting at their houses. They have met every Tuesday for eighteen years, eventually moving to the Holland Methodist Church since growing the group to 26 members. During warm weather they enjoy getting out to paint Plein Air at each other’s houses, parks, and other interesting places in WNY. The artists work in a variety of mediums: watercolor, acrylics, oils, pastels, and colored pencils. The subjects of the works include land and seascapes, portraits, abstracts, florals, and paintings of their travels.
