Minimalist Plaster Sculpture

MINIMALIST PLASTER SCULPTURE

November 15th | 10am-1pm | $45 / $40 members | Art’s Cafe

Participants will learn about the art and technique of subtractive sculpture. Each student will learn how to cast plaster blocks and will be provided with a pre cast block for use in class as well as a wooden display block. Students may choose to create either an abstract organic form, or a minimalistic animal form. Students will learn planning and design considerations and subtractive carving techniques.
