WRITERS OPEN MIC
April 9th | 6-8pm | Free | Art’s Cafe
Have you ever wondered what your writing would sound like as a song, or look like as a piece of art? Then please join us for this special open mic night! As you read, musician Stephen Wilger will “translate” your piece into music and artist Tracy Delvalle will turn it into a drawing. Stephen Wilger is a guitarist and singer who began playing around the Buffalo area since 2004 when he was a member of local rock bands Fat Apple and the Gadflies. More recently, Stephen has been focusing on writing his own material and performing as a solo musician. Tracy DelValle is an award-winning artist from Buffalo, NY. She has Bachelor degrees in Art Education and Fine Arts with a concentration in painting, and a Masters degree in Museum Studies and Educational Research. Her work has been exhibited in many group shows in the Western New York Area, including Springville Center for the Arts and Hallwalls. She is currently represented by Native Artist Gallery in Salamanca, NY. Tracy is owner and operator of Paint Flights Studio in Springville, NY, where she combines fine art study with therapeutic art classes.
