It is our most instinctive chakra, governing our survival instincts and our connectedness to our bodies as vehicles that navigate our world. Students will explore the root chakra by learning how incense is made, and grind root, resin and other gifts from the earth to craft their own one of a kind incense charged for at home use.

    This drop-off creativity program for ages 2 through 5 takes the Reggio Emilia approach of “process over product.”  Kids explore open-ended arts activities at their own pace, with the guidance of instructors. Painting, sculpture, loose parts, clay, puppet shows, instruments and more. The program will also include guest artists and walking field trips.

    Dan Bryce is the owner of Funderbolt Studios Toy and Game Design, whose clients include major toy companies like Spinmaster Toys, Fisher Price, and Mattel. He has a degree in animation and illustration from The Rhode Island School of Design and has been a professional toy inventor for over twenty five years. He specializes in illustration, 2D concept art and video production.  Dan recently finished a mural in Downtown Springville as part of SCA’s public art initiative, is on the SCA Board of Directors, volunteers as a gallery docent, and is a part of events like Art Crawl.
